I'm not exactly sure of the reason, it seems that it sometimes drops tables from memory, but we haven't found a solution. Myself and David Raznick were going to spend some time looking at it but haven't had a chance yet.

Instead we could support the API key as a query parameter as an alternative to via the HTTP header if it is hard to set an HTTP header in JS libraries?
